The Regional
Chamber Coalition is a group of the region’s chamber Executive
Directors/CEOs and volunteer leaders that meet quarterly to
consider public policy issues important to the Sacramento
region’s economic climate.
The coalition's policy priorities include:
-
Major
transportation that affect economic growth;

Flood control/water
resources;
-
The SACOG Metropolitan Transportation Plan for 2030; and
-
Development of an all-inclusive regional economic development
strategy
The coalition also considers other public policy issues
that the group agrees are important to economic growth in the
region.
Coalition members include the
Executive Directors/CEO of each chamber and one volunteer leader.
The
Regional Chamber Coalition develops positions on public policy
issues important to economic growth in the region and communicates
coalition positions to the public, media, government officials,
and elected officials & staff.
The coalition is staffed by Matt Yancey of the Sacramento Metro
Chamber. He works at the direction of the chair and steering
